They're Only Human

Waahhhh...

But if you were getting paid to go, you'd demand a front row seat next to the people who actually did something to get their press photographs too, wouldn't you?

Aren't We Over This Yet?

I saw some 12 year old kid on the subway today, waddling around, and he barely had his pants around his knees. I wanted to slap him twice across the face and say, "Pull your FUCKING pants up, dumbass."
SO OVER IT.

They Make It, You Buy It

If you haven't heard of Etsy yet, it's something you should know about. Like Ebay with an artistic bent, which means better vintage finds and unique handmade items. (The last picture of the peach and stripe jumper is my favorite...)

Vanilla Wool Sweater Coat, $40 Cornflower Blue Tulip Dress, $108

Peach Silky Striped Jumper, $98

Day of the Dolls

Last toy post for the day I swear!
It's just that I remembered seeing these little Thai String Dolls at the Union Square Holiday Market about a month ago, and had to share, because there are places to buy them online. Since their emigration in 2005, the String Doll Gang has been making people "eew" and "aww" all over the place, and range from 2" keychains to 14" baby-sized ones.
The Kamibashi website also sells other Asian art and textiles. So if Collin the Pirate doesn't steal your heart, you can always browse the selection of cute/creepy postcards.

Poetry is Deep

"It is evident the art of losing's not too hard to master
